Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week

Join us in being part of National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week! The week of November 18th - 23rd aims to bring together different campus departments and our students to create awareness around issues in housing and food insecurity in our country. Housing and food insecurity is a serious and important phenomenon impacting approximately 47.4 million people in America alone and 16.3% of Merced residents are experiencing food insecurity! It is important to recognize how the members of our own communities are affected by these hardships, so we welcome everyone to stop by our events and to look out for upcoming events and instagram posts to gain some awareness and engage in doing our part to support Merced county in this National phenomenon.
