Our very own UC Merced AmeriCorps fellow, Kaelyn Hughes, was featured on LA Times!
In her interview, the UC Merced senior talked about the positive impact of AmeriCorps on her life as well as the elementary school students she tutors. The stipend she receives from this program helps her pay necessities like tuition and rent without needing to take on another job.
