Un Sueño en Mexico 2026 - UCM Folklorico
We’re looking for volunteers! Help us out and get your hours in!
Ballet Folklorico de UC Merced is working in collaboration with the Community Engagement Center to help their annual show case run smoothly and to do so we are looking for volunteers to be apart of our stage crew!
This volunteer service will take place in The Merced Theater in Downtown (301 W Main St, Merced, CA 95340). Ballet Folklorico de UC Merced will provide transportation for those who need it! In order to be a volunteer for this event you must be available for both of these days for the full hours. These hours will count as community service hours for credit on catlife as well!
Event Date: Saturday, April 25
Time: 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Location: Merced Theater in Downtown (301 W Main St, Merced, CA 95340)
Hours: Earn up to 10 hours!
Responsibilites:
Friday April 24th:
- Get to know Ballet Folklorico de UCM
- Meet the Executive board members
- Meet the dancers and performers
- Learn our set list
- Learn our quick changes
- Learn our starting positions
Saturday April 25th:
- Help with set up & clean up
- Help with quick changes
- Make sure the right song is up next
- Make sure performers are in position
- Take pictures and videos
- Help with logistics and coordination
PLEASE NOTE: This service will be a mandatory two day event starting on Friday April 24th 6 pm - 9 pm and Saturday April 25th 11 am - 6 pm. In order to be a volunteer for this event you must be available for both of these days for the full hours.
