The CEC is happy to bring in local organizations of Merced and partner with them! Any organization that wishes to partner with the CEC is required to fill out the form located below and allow us 2-3 business days to get back to your organization. Service Opportunities Guidelines
We ask that all service opportunities provide students with the opportunity for self-growth and development such as teaching them the importance of creating safe communities by cleaning trash from local parks if the event does not comply with this requirement the event may be turned down. Allow a minimum of two weeks notice for events so that we may promote the event to students being mindful that students do have classes Monday through Friday which may affect the attendance of events that interfere with class time. Limited transportation may be provided to some events for students but the CEC must be informed with adequate time as well as any other special accommodations required for service opportunities please inform the CEC in advance. Any required forms/additional paperwork/information that is crucial to the volunteers to participate in the service opportunity must be shared with the CEC when submitting your application so that we may share it with the volunteers.
