Join UC Merced in a nationwide movement to raise awareness about hunger and homelessness. Together, we can make a difference in our community and support those in need.

Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week is an annual program bringing together over 700 colleges, high schools, and community groups nationwide to address critical issues facing our communities.
Basic needs insecurity affects college students across the nation, including food and housing instability. UC Merced is committed to supporting all Bobcats through our Basic Needs and Guardian Scholars programs.
Your participation directly supports local organizations like the Merced County Community Action Agency and the D Street Shelter.
Through education, service, fundraising, and advocacy, we can create lasting change in our community and support Bobcats in need.
