USDA Food Distribution

Calling All Bobcats!

USDA's food distribution programs strengthen the nutrition safety net through the distribution of USDA Foods and other nutrition assistance to children, low-income families, emergency feeding programs, Indian reservations, and the elderly. This service is open to all students, staff, and community members in need of food assistance!   

If you are interested in volunteering, there are two different opportunites available to support the USDA Food Distribution!

  1. The day before the distribution students can volunteer to support with bagging the food that will be distributed. 
  2. Day of distribution.

Food distributions no longer occur on a regular schedule, please check our calendar for more details such as time and location. Transportation will NOT be provided.

Upcoming Distribution Dates

October 2024 Dates

  • October 17 at TBD - Volunteers will assist with bagging food that will be distributed the following day.
    • Location: 336 W. Main Street #1
  • October 18 from 12:30PM - 3PM - Volunteers will assist with distribution.
    • Location: St. Patrick's Parish 671 E Yosemite Ave.
  • October 22 at TBD - Volunteers will assist with bagging food that will be distributed the following day.
    • Location: 336 W. Main Street #1
  • October 23 from 12:30PM - 3PM - Volunteers will assist with distribution.
    • Location: Sacred Heart Church 519 W 12th St.  

November 2024 Dates

  • November 14 at TBD - Volunteers will assist with bagging food that will be distributed the following day.
    • Location: 336 W. Main Street #1
  • November 15 from 12:30PM - 3PM - Volunteers will assist with distribution.
    •  Location: St. Patrick's Parish 671 E Yosemite Ave. 
  • November 25 from 8AM - 10AM - (Turkey Distribution) Volunteers will assist with distribution. 
    • Location: St. Patrick's Parish 671 E Yosemite Ave. 
  • November 26 at TBD - Volunteers will assist with bagging food that will be distributed the following day.
    • Location: 336 W. Main Street #1
  • November 27 from 12:30PM - 3PM- Volunteers will assist with distribution.
    •  Location: Sacred Heart Church 519 W 12th St.
